We're Back

I apologize for the hiatus.  I know some of you have been getting a little impatient with me,I told you I'm not a writer.  We have had a busy summer.  I went back to work and Ellie was able to go with me.  She had lots of fun with her friends at summer camp.  Since school starts tomorrow I'm done with work so we have some free time again.  I put together a slide show of some of the highlights of our summer.  I hope you enjoy them!  I promise to be a better blogger!!!

Ridin' in the Hood

Ellie finally charged up the Jeep and took her friend Jackson riding around the neighborhood.  She has yet to master steering and stopping. We hope Jackson doesn't sue for the whiplash he received while joy riding this evening.

The Entertainer

Ellie is an entertainer which she obviously gets from Mike. She is very into dressing up and  playing  princess. She sings herself to sleep and loves to perform.  Here is a video of Cinder-ELLIE ( her favorite princess) singing her favorite song ( Jesus loves me).

We've jumped on the bandwagon!

Seems like everyone these days has a blog.  So I've decided to jump on the bandwagon  and start one too.  I want to be able to share pictures, videos and all the funny things that Ellie says and does.  I figured this is a great way for us to keep everyone updated on what's going on in our family.   Now YOU get to peek into the life of the Carlsons.  I know this is exciting for a lot of you because you wonder-- "what DO the Carlsons do?"   So, sit back, (well not really, you have to turn your computer on) relax, and prepare to be entertained.  Now, I will say I'm not one who loves to write so hopefully Mike will help to keep this going. Also, I cannot promise extreme levels of entertainment on each post but I will try my best! Hope ya'll stop by frequently.
